Chapter 54: Jesus redefines his family
1 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his his brethren stood without, groaning and crying for his brains. 2 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy brethren stand risen without, desiring to feast on thee.
3 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who are my brethren? 4 And he stretched forth his hand toward his warriors, and said, Behold my brethren! 5 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother. But whosoever riseth from the dead, he is my brother no longer.
