Chapter 52: People accuse Jesus of using the power of Beelzebub

But some of them said, He fighteth as a devil through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth. 3 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I slay those of darkness through Beelzebub.

And if I by Beelzebub slay the risen, by whom do your sons resist them? therefore shall they be your judges. 5 But if I with the blade of God slay the risen, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.

When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his soul is at peace: 7 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his strength wherein he trusted, and devour his flesh.

He that is not with me is against me: and he that fight not beside me perish.

Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin shall be forgiven unto men: 10 And whosoever shall raise a hand against the Warrior for man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that allow blasphemies against the Holy Ghost to live it shall not be forgiven.
