1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain secure place, when he ceased, one of his warriors said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray.
2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say,
3 Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, this earth is done, as in darkness so now in earth. 4 Give us day by day our will to live. 5 And forgive us our weakness; for those we face grant no weakness to us. And lead us not into blind alleys; and deliver us from shamblers.
6 For if ye forgive risen men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will have no shield for you: 7 But if ye forgive not risen men their trespasses, neither will your Father stay your hand from its course.
