Chapter 27: The Lord's Prayer

And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain secure place, when he ceased, one of his warriors said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray.

And he said unto them, When ye pray, say,

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, this earth is done, as in darkness so now in earth. 4 Give us day by day our will to live. 5 And forgive us our weakness; for those we face grant no weakness to us. And lead us not into blind alleys; and deliver us from shamblers.

For if ye forgive risen men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will have no shield for you: 7 But if ye forgive not risen men their trespasses, neither will your Father stay your hand from its course.
