Chapter 147: Ceremony of the bread and wine

1 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: 2 For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it is I who am a meal for the risen.

3 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body.

4 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it.

5 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many as a shield from infection.

6 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I am risen in life.
