Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover sacrifice must be killed.

And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat. 3 And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?

And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of uninfected water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. 5 And ye shall show your swords and say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my warriors? 6 And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover. 8 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world to become part of the risen, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him; 11 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come for the living, and would save the living.
