Chapter 107: Strength in poverty

1 Then said Jesus unto his warriors, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly become a warrior of heaven.

2 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a risen to recite the whole of scripture, than for a rich man to hold his mind to the work of God.

3 When his warriors heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

4 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
