Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you which hear, feel not for your enemies, do what must be done to them which feel nothing, 3 Bless not them that curse you with their very existence, and do not pray for them which hunger for your very brain.
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth us to rain on the unjust.
For if ye spare them which loved you, what reward have ye? do not their new hungers draw them to you just the same? 6 And if ye spare your brethren only, what do ye profit? does not their time soon come?
Be ye therefore perfect killing things, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect when there is need.
